Lawyers always like to have technical information on websites that no one can understand but will work well if things ever end up in court.

Since Joey was a practicing lawyer in a previous life (by that we mean earlier in his career – not a previous life in the reincarnation sense of the word), his “disclaimer” page is written to be a bit more enjoyable, while still clear and easy to understand. We hope you enjoy!

NO WARRANTIES WHATSOEVER

The information contained in this website is for general information and business education purposes only. While we do our best to keep the information we share up to date and correct, we make no representations or warranties of any kind. This includes any warranties, express or implied, about the completeness, accuracy, reliability, suitability, or availability of any of the information, products, services, or offerings discussed on the website.

😉

In short, as is always the case in life, you’re responsible for your own thoughts, actions, and feelings.

Any reliance you place on any information shared on this website is therefore strictly at your own risk. It’s not as risky as grabbing an electric fence, or driving without a seat belt, or jumping out of a perfectly functioning airplane, but it’s recommended that you use your good judgement and common sense.

In no event will we be liable for any loss or damage including without limitation, indirect or consequential loss or damage, or any loss or damage whatsoever arising from loss of data or profits arising out of, or in connection with, the use of this website. On one hand, it would be crazy for someone to sue about advice or information they got from a website – but in an increasingly litigious society, nothing really phases us anymore. Ah, how we long for the more sane times of yesteryear… and in the same instance, apologize for the way many lawyers are behaving these days. The once noble profession is… let’s just say a bit less noble in many instances.

Sometimes we link to other websites to make your web-surfing experience easier. Needless to say, these other sites are not under our control. To be clear, we have no control over the nature, content, and/or availability of those sites. The inclusion of any links to other sites does not necessarily imply a recommendation or endorse the views expressed within them – other than at the time we make the link. In short, we may say, “check out this great book!” and link to Amazon. The author of that book may go bonkers and replace his Kindle book link with something unprofessional. If that happens – wow – what were the chances?! We’re sorry if that happens – but not responsible. You probably already knew this but just in case, we wanted to be clear.

Every effort is made to keep our website up and running smoothly. However, just like you, sometimes the internet and technology don’t work as well as we would like – which is a bigger bummer than not having hover cars yet (okay, it’s probably more of a toss-up as to which is worse). As we can’t control the interwebs (as the hipsters call it these days), we take no responsibility for, and will not be liable for, our website being temporarily unavailable due to technical issues beyond our control.

Hopefully, this has been the most fun you’ve ever had reading a website disclaimer. If that’s the case, imagine us smiling that we achieved our goal!

Thanks for reading! Now go check out the cooler blog posts and videos on the site!

P.S. You know how Joey often talks about making the required remarkable? This was an attempt to do just that – as we do our best to “eat our own cooking.”
